- This project proposes a three-line investigation -by independent studies of DNA, paleo diet and radio carbonic analysis to ratify the results that place the necropolis between the 8th and 11th centuries in order to focus the investigation of this Islamic cemetery from a multidisciplinary approach.

- These days phase three of the excavations at the Muslim necropolis in Tauste promoted by the El Patiaz Cultural Association has been concluded.
- According to the carbon-14 analyses conducted by the Spanish National Research Council (Madrid) of some samples, it turned out to be the oldest Islamic tomb in Aragon (the early 8th century).
